A highlight on both the elite and social running calendar, the annual Durban SPAR Women’s 10km Challenge incorporating a 5km fun run/walk is simply one of the races that has to be done – or else serious FOMO could result from not rising to the challenge.

This year the SPAR Women’s 10km Challenge which takes place on Sunday, June 5, changes venue to the Growthpoint Kings Park outer fields. The new venue allows both the 10km and 5km competitors to run along the beachfront. Here participants can soak in the beautiful views of the city and the long sandy beaches set against exquisite blue winter skies.

Dubbed the country’s most beautiful race, the Durban SPAR Women’s 10km Challenge, now celebrating its 26th year, offers an exciting sporting event for women and girls from 9 years up. Of course, support from male colleagues, friends and family is always welcome. All participants receive an awesome promo bag on registration and as usual there will be a breakfast pack and entertainment for all, and loads of fantastic lucky draws for the ladies at the GrowthPoint Kings Park finish.
