OFF THE GRID, Bar & Kitchen

OFF THE GRID was established in 2013 as a typical English style Pub & Restaurant. OTG enjoyed the next few years growing from strength to strength & in 2016 decided it was time for a face lift.

Just before OTG was about to implement the changes, Cambridge Crossing had announced its plans for a Center Upgrade. This played into OTG’s favor as a New store would be built catered to the requirements of the OTG die-hards!

OTG moved to a temporary location in Feb 2017 as the Center was torn down in parts to make way for the New underground parking and Shop fronts. This temporary location came to be known as the Shebeen of the North. Although this location had its challenges, it also had its special moments.

OTG was chosen by The VOICE SA to host their KARAOKE Night. OTG had the full ensemble, MNET, The VOICE, Prime Circle & the Top 6 Voice contenders.

Finally October 2017 came & OTG was now able to action the long awaited plans for the new look OTG.

Although the store has changed its look from a typical English Pub to an upmarket Industrial Style Bar & Kitchen, the customers remain loyal die-hards and the core principles OTG was built around, remain the same as ever.
