The Soil is an award-winning South African acapella group. Defined as Kasi Soul, the group’s music features (in a contemporary township style), an eclectic mix of musical genres such as jazz, hip-hop, Afro-pop and Afro-soul). In 2011, The Soil released their self-titled debut album The Soil which achieved platinum status, selling over 50,000 copies. Their sophomore album Nostalgic Moments was released in 2014. They’ve recently completed a highly successful East African tour and have just released their latest single Silale.
The Soil strives to fuse their voices to deliver melodic and harmonious messages that are aimed at uplifting and healing souls all around the world.
