We received so many requests for a NYE #PiP, we've decided to make it happen in 2018!

The ideal family friendly New Years Eve by Picnics in the Park, the team behind some of Joburg’s most popular and creative family friendly events that are focused on the out-doors, the 5 senses and a bucket full of creativity, present a camp-out movie night for the whole family on New Year’s Eve 2018.


With the venue opening at 2pm, guests can arrive, set up their tents and chill under the sun while the movies kick off. The afternoon will see kid friendly cartoons and child friendly fare, with adult –oriented movies showing after dark.



A light display at midnight rounds of the evening’s festivities and welcome in the New Year, 2019!

THE FUN STUFF!

Braai - Yes, we are allowing you to have a braai at the event, this will only be allowed in the designated braai area :)

Camp - Yup, you heard that right, no need to drive, set up your camping area in the campsite, camping tickets are limited though :0



The “Picnics in the Park” Series is a compilation of themed picnics, held annually, aimed at communities and families. The event will consist of a themed Picnic, with activities, Food Vendors and The #PiP Bar. Just bring yourself and a picnic basket, or purchase from our vendors and sit back, relax and enjoy a chilled and safe New Year’s Eve with outdoor movies that are suitable for all ages.
