Winner of MK Award for Best Indie in 2013, Shortstraw are undoubtedly making waves on the national indie music scene in a big way. With their simple melodies and catchy rhythms and often unexpectedly brilliant lyrics, the band has taken pleasure in rocking the most prominent live music venues and clubs in the country and is well known for getting the crowd dancing!

From Mumbai to Maboneng, from Berlin’s hustle and bustle to Lesotho’s vast and silent mountainous grip, the trail that Bam Bam Brown is blazing is surely one carved by Kieron Brown's own unique, fiery young hands. Bam Bam Brown has played every major festival in South Africa and now will bring their eclectic sound of Afro-Folk-Rock, and its electric live performance to Kirstenbosch.
